Free PDF To Word Software

The other day one of our offline clients wanted to convert a brochure which was in PDF to Word so he could get some information from it for his brochure so off I went hunting for him.

As I have mentioned before our services are not just for building and optimizing your website but a complete marketing and support program.

This is what I found!

Does Free PDF to Word Converter support all the PDF?

Almost yes. Our program can open Adobe PDF 1.0 – 1.6. That includes 95+% PDF documents downloaded from the internet as my tests. If you can not open a PDF file with our PDF to Word Converter, please contact us.

How can the layout of the PDF be preserved when using the Free PDF to Word Converter?

We use two ways to keep the layout of the PDF. The normal way is to try to keep the spacing of the texts, images, shapes as the source file; And if you check the “Use Text box” option, our Free PDF to Word Converter will create positive-position containers for all the texts/images/shapes.

Why sometimes the layout of the output Doc is much different from the PDF?

When the original PDF file’s layout is very complex, this may happen. To have a better result you’d better check the “Use Text box” opiton. And open the output Doc file with Microsoft Word, which is the best to read Doc file.

Which languages can Free PDF to Word Converter support?

We are sorry that current version of our Free PDF Converter can only convert English PDF. We are still developing the program which can support multi languages and it may come soon.

Whats going to happen in 2010

The following is a kind of summary for the year to come, a compilation based on market changes and insights, the people at agency Vanksen (offices in Paris, Luxembourg, Geneva and New York) came across over the course of ’09, taking into account executions we managed for major brands that entrusted us with their business, and exchanges made amidst the 70-plus conferences and seminars at which we’ve spoken around the world.

The whole article can be read here.

1. Presence on the web, particularly social media, will be more important than ever.

50% of US users already spend more time online than on any other media. Of this percentage, fewer and fewer engage with brand sites; rather, they flock in growing numbers to social networks — the sites they also prefer for sharing viral content with peers.

2. Standalone offline approaches, or 1.0, won’t work in a 2.0 world.

The majority of agencies and advertisers still have a long way to go in terms of developing complete digital fluency. Some content themselves with having learned 1.0 techniques (cross-linking, email blasts, banner ads).

2010 will force them to update their knowledge base in a manner both fundamental and profound — that is, if they want to remain relevant to consumers. It’s nearly impossible to ignore the potential of the web; basic approaches, like CPM-based banner campaigns, have begun to manifest glaring limits.

3. The transition of offline budgets to digital and social media will amplify … 2010 opens into a whole new era of transmedia marketing strategies.

According to US-based Forrester, 59% of US advertisers plan to increase their digital budgets — at the expense of offline executions. As a result, online marketing spend will hit $55 billion in 2014. In addition to ZenithOptimedia, JPMorgan and others, Forrester also predicts a rise in online marketing spend exceeding 10% for 2010 alone.

Foreshadowing the gigantic shift that will move marketing priorities from offline to online, Pepsi decided not to purchase TV ad space at this year’s Super Bowl, opting instead to focus on online investments. And in the United Kingdom, the internet was the premier medium on which advertisers focused their budgets in 2009 — even beating TV! (Based on gross ad spend, not net.)

4. Six million competitors! The power of the consumer and of crowdsourcing will challenge and drive brand innovation.

It’s simple: if a product or brand refuses to respond to user demand, the latter will band together to find better options, improve existing ones, tear down existing barriers (for example, copy protection and regional zoning of DVDs, DRM in music, locked iPhones), or use their networks to acquire things for free (P2P downloading like BitTorrent, etc).

Now they also have savory options for producing (and selling!) their own goods, including Etsy (for artisanal or handmade products), Ponoko, Spoonflower (creation on-demand) or CafePress (adding personal designs to existing products).

5. 2010: The year of mobile … AND social: geolocalization + applications + social networks + recommendations

After over 10 years in of claiming the “year of mobile” has finally arrived, we can say with confidence that in 2010 mobile marketing will mature in ways we previously only dreamed: Forrester claims the sector will absorb over $390 million dollars; for its part, emarketer is claiming $593 million. This spend is expected to increase an average of 27% yearly for the next five years — an enormous figure. What’s more, mobile marketing spend in 2010 is still 24 times lower than expected expenditures in 2014.
